Govinda accidentally shoots himself in leg with revolver, hospitalised

Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday after he accidentally shot himself with his licenced revolver. The actor’s revolver misfired, and the bullet ended up hitting his knee.
The incident happened at 4.45 am when Govinda was preparing to go out, and he was checking his licenced revolver. The actor has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital.
The hospital has refrained from commenting on the actor’s condition. They said Govinda’s family would come out with a statement soon.
The 90s superstar, best-known for his comedy-related roles and his dance numbers, joined the Eknath Shinde faction of Shiv Sena earlier this year in March.
